About the artist
Iratxe Arteta
Iratxe Arteta's painting emerges from the dialogue between matter and light. Her work is built through glazes and transparencies that invite us to look beyond the surface. Each gesture is a slow and conscious process where color is transformed into space and light reveals the invisible. Her work, evocative, becomes an experience rather than an image. It is an invitation to silence and contemplation. She understands painting as an inner language, a search for harmony between the visible and that which is barely sensed. She gives shape to contained emotions and turns light into a language of her own.
