About the artist
Araceli García
Araceli is a visual artist from Granada, specializing in watercolor. After spending her entire life painting, she discovers in art a way to reflect the connections between humans and nature. Drawing on other art forms, she finds inspiration in poetry, dance, and cinema, all of which are palpable in her visual art. She combines her expressionist watercolor painting with other materials such as India ink, oxides, acrylics, clay, and graphite, with Eastern culture and a distinctive brushstroke greatly influencing her work. Her paintings convey the beauty of fractals, the subtlety of glazes, the power of the brushstroke, and the balance of the composition.
