Estampa 2026

Helarea’s proposal for ESTAMPA 2026 brings together Candela Picado and Marta Besada in a dialogue centered on the movement of form. Working from distinct yet complementary visual languages, both artists conceive of the image not as something fixed, but as a process in constant transformation.

In their works, layers, strokes, and forms emerge, overlap, and dissolve, creating compositions that always seem to be in transit. The proposal thus focuses on the changing and the transitory—on that moment in which form is still taking shape and remains open to new possibilities.
