Umbral, Jade Matcha Gallery

Coinciding with Madrid’s Opening Week, UMBRAL marks the beginning of a new season and the city’s return to its usual pace after the summer break. The exhibition brings together the works of Lara Padilla, Marta de la Fuente, Sergi Barnils, and Fernando Mikelarena around that moment of transition between introspection and presence, calm and movement. Through the body, everyday life, spirituality, and matter, their works offer different ways of exploring our relationship with ourselves, with others, and with the spaces we inhabit.

Ultimately, UMBRAL is an invitation to cross over into a new stage and to rediscover art as a way of looking at, understanding, and inhabiting the present.
