About the artist

Sandra Mazoy

Sandra Mazoy

Sandra Mazoy is a Mexican artist based in Madrid whose abstract and geometric work explores the relationship between form and color. Trained in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, and Art and Philosophy, she also taught the Color and Form course for 20 years at Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico City. Her creative process begins with intuitive sketches that evolve into balanced compositions, where geometry serves as a language of order and color is applied organically and intuitively. Inspired by visual memories and unconscious references, she creates works that explore multiple possibilities within form, color, and contrast. For Mazoy, art is a form of communication that invites each viewer to construct a personal and emotional interpretation of the work.
