About the artist

Bea Rivers

Bea Rivers

Explore the emotional and symbolic power of abstraction through color, geometry, and texture. Inspired by early 20th-century abstract movements and their ability to convey ideas and sensations without resorting to figurative representation. Music plays an essential role in her creative process, understood both as an external melody and an inner noise. This relationship is especially materialized in the recurring use of thread, an element that brings relief, texture, and gesture to her compositions. The thread simultaneously evokes the strings of an instrument and the complex web of thoughts and emotions from which each work emerges, becoming a visual language that connects the material with the emotional.
