About the artist

Guillermo Ibáñez
Imagine a vibrant city, full of life and movement. Through its streets and buildings, crowds move along, each with its own story and destination. In the midst of this bustle, there I am, Guillermo, an urban drawing enthusiast seeking to capture the essence of everyday life. Although I come from a family where architecture is a shared passion, and my aunts and uncles always bet that I would dedicate myself to drawing, life took me down a different path. I studied business and went into technology, where my main role is to translate the language of technology into business. To do my job in technology, it is essential to be empathetic, direct, consistent, and simple. My painting reflects these principles: simplicity with a consistent touch of color, expressing patterns that tell stories and avoiding complications. How do I do it? By combining my drawings with models and plastic figures.
