About the artist

Gonzalo Rada

Gonzalo Rada

Born into a family of architects, I have always felt drawn to art. However, my academic training focused on law and business. That is why, as a self-taught artist, I began to refine the drawings I used to make with a BIC pen on whatever paper I had lying around. In 2015, I started publishing them on social media and receiving my first commissions. Little by little, I have been perfecting my technique by expanding my color palette and increasing the level of detail. Through meticulous, almost artisanal work, I invite the viewer to reflect on the beauty in everyday life and the artistic possibilities of a universal tool such as the BIC pen.
